Around 60 artists have hit the beach in Brighton for one of the world's largest sand sculpture festivals.
The theme is Ancient Rome and features sand sculptures of Julius Caesar, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Hadrian's Wall and other historical images.
40,000 square feet of land at Black Rock, near Brighton Marina, East Sussex was used for the exhibition.
Sculptors used nearly 10,000 tons of rough-edged river sand which was imported from Holland.
The exhibition runs from from June 1 until September 10 2006 - so grab your bucket and spade quick!
