Where can I play tennis?

Tim Henman teaches children tennis skills

You can play tennis in your garden or in the park - all you need is a racket and a tennis ball.

But if you want to get better then the best thing is to join a club where you can be coached and take part in tournaments.

The Lawn Tennis Association is the governing body for the game of tennis in Great Britain.

They also run the Ariel Mini Tennis scheme - specially designed to introduce children under 10 years old to the game.

Click on the website on the right hand side of this page for further information on this.

You can also find the nearest club to you by entering your post code into the Find A Club section in the Lawn Tennis Association on the top right of this page.
