Today was the third Ukraine's group game.

We had to win this game and our team did it!

The first-half was not so interesting as the second because there were no goals.

In the 70th minute Sheva got the penalty and scored it - of course!

The match was tense, rich for the moments.

We are happy that Ukraine have moved on to the next round.

Ukraine 4-0 Saudi Arabia: Monday 19 June

We made it!

We have been waiting for this day. Ukraine won in today's game and we are very happy with this victory.

This game was very interesting, rich for the moments. Our team scored four goals but could have scored more.

I was very impressed by the great game of our team. I hope we will be lucky in next game too.

Ukraine 0-4 Spain: Wednesday 14 June

I was really excited about Ukraine's first match. The first game we had was with a very good team - Spain.

The first half started badly for our team because Spain scored two early goals.

The second half was not better for us. Spain scored two more goals, moreover Vladislav Vashchuk got a red card.

Frankly speaking, Spain looked better. Anyway, it was only the first game and I hope that our team will play better in the next games.

Tournament preview

What's the atmosphere like in Ukraine?

I think that our national football team was lucky to have qualified to the final round of the World Cup.

Ukraine is in a group with such good teams like Spain, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. But I still think that my country has many chances to get to the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

However, I'm worried about Andrey Shevchenko because he is injured and may not take part. All the rest of the players are ready to fight and to show everything that they can do on the pitch.

Anyway, I love football and play for FC Shakhtar Donetsk youth team and so I can't wait to see a lot of exciting World Cup matches!
