Michael Schumacher has raced his way to victory in the San Marino Grand Prix, holding off a challenge from reigning champion Fernando Alonso.
The Ferrari driver led comfortably from the start but ran into tyre problems after his first pit stop and had to fight hard to stay on top of Alonso.
Jenson Button finished a disappointing seventh, after a pit mix-up.
He pulled away with the fuel line still attached to his car, tearing it, and holding him up for vital seconds.
This is Schumacher's first win since last June's US Grand Prix, and could mark the start of his attempt to re-take the Championship from Fernando Alonso.
