A young Scottish adventurer is celebrating after becoming the youngest boy to walk to the North Pole.
Temperatures of -22C and chilling winds did not prevent 15-year-old Jordan Maguire from making the 111-mile, 10-day trip with eight other people.
Jordan's expedition raised nearly £19,000 for kids' charity WellChild, but it's back to normal for him now.
After the thrills of the Arctic, he has to dash home to Renfrewshire to sit his Standard Grade exams next week.
A WellChild spokesman said: "Jordan should be proud of his fantastic achievement - we are forever grateful.
"He's got exams next week but I'm sure that if he shows the same dedication that he did on this expedition, he'll pass with flying colours!"
The record for the youngest person to make the North Pole is held by Alicia Hempleman-Adams, who was also 15 when she got there in April 2005.
