The Queen will celebrate her 80th birthday on Friday 21 April and to celebrate Royal Mail has bought out eight stamps showing pictures of her throughout her life. Here she is as a five-year-old child with her mother.

The last stamps issued to mark the Queen's birthday were in 1986, when she was 60. The new set contains two second class stamps (23p), two first class stamps (32p), two 44p stamps and two 72p stamps.
