Fernando Alonso took victory in a dramatic Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, ruining Jenson Button's hopes of winning his first race.
Button started on pole but lost control of the race after a crash at the first corner brought out the safety car.
Renault's Alonso streaked ahead of him to take the lead, which the Spaniard didn't lose for the rest of the race.
Button slipped to fifth, then dropped to tenth when his engine blew up on the last corner of the last lap.
McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen was second and Ralf Schumacher's Toyota third.
