In pictures: Doctor Who series two

Just in case it's somehow escaped you, Doctor Who is back on your screens soon, with David Tennant now in charge of the Tardis

Bille Piper is back as Rose for the second series of the show. She's also said she'll be around for series three

Of course it is Doctor Who, so there are plenty of trips into the future, including the first episode

Some familiar faces are back for series two, including the Face of Boe, who is in hospital

Another face from series one, Lady Cassandra, is also back. Perhaps she's looking for some sort of cure for her lack of body

The nurses in the hospital look a little unusual to say the least, but will they have the patients purring?

Of course, it wouldn't be Doctor Who if the main man was't left in peril at some point during the episode

And of the course, the sonic screwdriver has to get an outing too...

We're not sure exactly what's going on in this scene, but it looks pretty interesting

But what's this? It took Rose ages to kiss the last Doctor and she's already at it with the new one!
