Who can do triathlon?

Triathletes
Anyone from the age of eight upwards can do triathlon.

For those who don't want to do the three sports in a triathlon, but still want to try a multi-sport event then there are the following other options:

Aquathlon

This is just a swim and a run. It is more geared to children because you don't need to have a bike to do it.

The distances you race vary depending on what age you are.

Duathlon

This is a run, a cycle, and another run. If you're not great at swimming it still gives you the chance to compete in a multi-sport event.

Again, the race distances vary depending on what age you are.
