Abuse of Iraqis

Ever since the start of the invasion in 2003 the US-led forces have taken Iraqis prisoner and kept them in jails.

On a few occasions, pictures and later videos of some of those prisoners being badly treated were released.

A number of them appeared in TV and in newspapers around the world, showing soldiers bullying and humiliating prisoners.

There has also been evidence that appears to show UK soldiers abusing Iraqi civilians in the street.
