RSPCA to teach us proper pet care

A fat cat
Pet owners who don't know one end of their dog from another are going to be given a helping hand as the RSCPA are holding animal care workshops.

The animal charity will hold Know Your Pet roadshows across the country to teach people about how to look after their pets responsibly.

The roadshows come as new laws are coming in dealing with how we have to look after animals.

The new Animal Welfare Act comes into force next spring.

The act deals with things like making sure animals have enough food and water and keeping them safe from diseases and injury.

You can learn the best way to look after your furry, feathered or fishy friends at the shows which are going on throughout August.

For information on when and where the shows are taking place, click on the link to RSPCA's website at the top right of this page.
