Who would win at your Oscars?

Oscar statues
It's time for the 78th Academy Awards where the stars will come out in force to celebrate the best films and stars of the year.

But never mind that - we'd like to know who you'd pick to win at YOUR Oscars.

Who do you think has been the best actor or actress this year?

And what would you pick as best film?

Maybe you've even got a fave song from a film?

E-mail and let us know.

I have three favourite actors/actresses I would give an Oscar to: Jim Carrey, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.
Catherine, 11, Middlesbrough

I think Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe all deserve Oscars, I just can't imagine the Harry Potter films without them, they're all so talented and have achieved so much at such young ages.
Grace, 14, Surrey

Jack Black would win my Oscar. He's wicked!
Alice, 10, Lewes

I think the best actor by far this year has been Johnny Depp. He has been number one in my book for a long, long time.
Katy, 13, Cuba

In my Oscars Emma Watson would win all the awards. She is the BEST!
Alice, 14, Omagh

In my Oscars, Pride and Prejudice would have won everything it was nominated for because it is the best movie of all time! Keira Knightley would definitely win best actress and the girl who played Jane Bennett would win best supporting.
Damarias, 15, Glasgow

I think the actor who played King Kong should win an Oscar.
Tom, 13, Swindon

Who cares about the Oscars? I think they are just a waste of time.
Jeremy, 10, Godalming

I think Rowan Atkinson should win one, he is so funny!
Emily, 10, Paignton

My Aunty's nephew would win and he's already won one in real life!
Connor, 9, Kingston-upon-Hull

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire would win my Oscar! It's the best!
Danielle, 12, Essex

At my Oscars Keira Knightly would win as she did an amazing job in Pride and Prejudice.
Emillie, 15, London

Orlando Bloom would win my Oscar. He's totally hot and a great actor.
Ashley, 13, USA

Chronicles of Narnia! No doubt about it.
Kat, 16, USA

I think Tom Hanks for his wicked performances in everything he has done including, Green Mile and Catch Me If You Can. Also Polar Express, which if you haven't seen before, it is great at Christmas!
Rosie, 13, London

I think Johnny Depp should win an Oscar for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He is the greatest actor of all time yet he still hasn't won an Oscar! He is the best!
Sarah, 14, Tamworth

I think Nicole Kidman should win best actress for Bewitched.
Hannah, 13, Ingoldisthorpe

I think every actor and actress should win a award as all of them work so hard and it must be disappointing to not get one.
Jessie, 11, Unknown

I think Jack Black for his role in King Kong.
Alex, Bolton

I think Emma Watson!
Laisha, 13, Liverpool

In my Oscar awards I would give Johnny Depp best actor and would give a special prize to Harrison Ford for being the most dull actor of all time!
Steph, 12, Belfast

Johnny Depp should win for playing Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He is such a great actor yet he has never won an Oscar before!
Katie, 13, Lyme Regis

I think The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire should get awards because they're both brilliant films.
Rebecca, 14, Lancashire

I think Daniel Radcliffe should get worst actor.
Martina, 13, Manchester

Keira Knightley would win at my Oscars. She is well the best actress by far!!!
Stefanie, 14, Liverpool

I'm not a fan of Pride and Prejudice but Keira Knightley is a great actress. And even better is that she is an English film star. 2005/6 was a great year for films and movies.
Charli, 11, Leicester

In my Oscars I would give the best film of the year to Nick Park for Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Thomas, 9, Paignton

Keira Knightley would win my Oscars as she has been in so many great films and she played the characters brilliantly.

I'd pick Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire or Narnia for my Oscars. I think both were really great though so it'd be hard to choose between them.
Ivy, 12, Oxford

Wallace and Gromit should win best animated film.
Daniel, 7, London

Hayden Christensen would win Best Actor for his amazing acting in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, but also lots of other actors should win from that film as well.
