Animal actor has plastic surgery

A kangaroo
A kangaroo acting star has had his face saved by a plastic surgeon after being attacked by a wolf.

Four-year-old Feznik, who works as an animal actor, was bitten on his lip leaving it mangled and misshapen.

But luckily a top Los Angeles doctor called Theodore Corwin, who usually operates on humans, stepped in and fixed his injured face for free.

Feznik, who had the operation three months ago, is said to have recovered well and his lip has healed nicely.

During two hours of surgery Feznik, who lives on a farm with other Hollywood animal stars, was given 25 stitches to sew his lip back together.

Marsupial quiz
His facial fur has covered up the scars and the kangaroo, who has appeared in films and adverts, could be back at work soon.

Although Dr Corwin performed the operation for free he said similar surgery on a human would cost thousands of pounds.
