It all started so well at the Winter Olympics for Italian skaters Barbara Fusar Poli and Maurizio Margaglio.
They looked in great form and were leading after the first of three routines, with two stages of the event still to go.
But things can very quickly go wrong on ice, even for experts like Olympic skaters.
Poli and Margaglio had got right to the end of their routine when the trouble started.
No-one seems sure if Poli or Margaglio was first to lose balance, but once the fall started, they both hit the ice fast.
When they'd finished there was a bit of frostiness to say the least between the pair.
And things didn't get much better when they got off the ice, in the amusingly named "kiss and cry" zone.
And then they got their marks, sending them from all the way from first place to seventh.
