England have lost the first Test in the Ashes series against Australia losing by 239 runs at Lord's.
The Australians bowled England out for 180 on the fourth day of the Test, with Kevin Pieterson unbeaten on 64 for his second half-century of the match.
The batsman's Test debut was one of the few bright spots in a disappointing defeat for the home side.
The rest of England's batsmen seemed to have no answer to top Australian bowlers Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath.
Between them they took 15 of the 20 English wickets to fall in the match.
England started brilliantly after losing the toss, bowling the opposition out for just 190.
But from then on Australia dominated the game, bowling England out twice for less than 200 and scoring 384 runs themselves in their own second innings.
As well as their poor batting against Warne and McGrath, England will have to work on their fielding before the second Test after dropping a number of catches they really should have held onto.
