Spain's Fernando Alonso has won his seventh Grand Prix of the season, taking the chequered flag in Germany.
Alonso now leads the world championship by 36 points, with eight races still to take place this season.
Kimi Raikkonen took no reward for his pole position after mechanical problems once again forced him out of a race, leaving him second in the championship.
Britain's Jenson Button enjoyed another podium finish in third place, one behind McLaren's Juan Pablo Montoya.
It was a particularly good performance from Montoya, who had to start from the back of the grid after spinning off in qualifying.
But the Columbian raced through the field throughout the race, with Alonso the only driver he couldn't catch.
His drive showed just how quick the McLarens can be, but a lack of reliability seems to be handing the championship to Alonso and Renault.
