Fans of Harry Potter were warned to stay away from a road in Shropshire after a spoil-sport hung up a banner saying which character dies.
Readers knew there would be a big death in the Half-Blood Prince but security was so tight it was kept a secret.
But then a banner appeared over the A442 in Telford announcing who meets a sticky end in the sixth book.
Luckily workmen removed the banner after a few hours before the plot was ruined for too many people.
The sixth Harry Potter book was released on Saturday and it has already smashed publishing records.
It sold more than two million copies on its first day in the UK alone, and a whopping 6.9 million in the US.
It's thought that the new novel has been selling at a rate of 250,000 copies per hour.
