Come on England!

Press Packer Nico is very excited about the Ashes series.

In his report he tells us about the history of the Ashes and who he thinks might win.

"The Ashes cricket tournament is coming up soon and many children around the globe are wondering who just might win.

The Ashes is a test cricket contest between Australia and England which has been going on since 1882.

The prize is a small urn with the ashes of some cricket bails from a game in 1882.

The Ashes consists of five test matches with each test lasting five days.

Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath believes the Aussies will thrash us English by five tests to none.

But I know a lot of other young cricket supporters like me who also believe that England will beat the Aussies with new additions to the squad such as Kevin Pieterson and Geraint Jones.

Personally this summer I will forget the sun and be inside watching the whole Ashes series on the telly.
