Manchester City's mid-fielder and England international Shaun Wright-Phillips is to join Chelsea.
City accepted a bid of £21m for the 23-year-old after he asked them for permission to talk to the Premier League champions.
Wright-Phillips is the stepson of former Arsenal striker Ian Wright. He joined City in 1999 after being a trainee at Nottingham Forest.
He has made four appearances for England's national team.
Wright-Phillips was withdrawn from the City squad that will travel to Thailand on Sunday night for the FA Premier League Asia Trophy.
He played for City in their friendly at Tranmere on Friday.
