Steelers victorious at Super Bowl

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis
The Pittsburgh Steelers have won their first Super Bowl since 1980 after beating the Seattle Seahawks 21-10.

The Super Bowl, in Detroit, is the top American Football game and one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

As well as the game a sell-out crowd of 65,000 people were treated to top music acts at half-time including Joss Stone.

The event was particularly memorable for Steeler Jerome Bettis who retired immediately after winning the game.

The game made Ben Roethlisberger the youngest winning quarterback aged just 23.
