Fizzy drink ad banned before 9pm

The Fanta advert showing people spitting out their drink won't be shown on TV before 9pm anymore.

The Advertising Standards Authority received complaints that children were copying the spitting, so they decided that the ad can only be shown later in the evening.

They got 272 official complaints and said "Spitting is widely perceived as anti-social."

The company who make the drink said they didn't mean to offend anyone.

They said the advertisement was aimed at 16-24 year-olds and have agreed to go along with the ASA's ruling.

The ASA recently decided that some other adverts showing people singing with their mouths full did not promote bad manners.
