Man injured in third shark attack

A Florida beach was closed after the second shark attack
A 19-year-old man has become the third person to be attacked by a shark in Florida in less than a week.

Austrian tourist Armin Trojer was bitten by a shark when he was just chest-deep in water near Miami.

He was taken to hospital and is being treated for leg wounds. A spokesman said he was in a good condition.

On Monday, a 16-year-old boy lost a leg after being bitten by a shark, and sadly, a 14-year-old girl died after being attacked by a shark on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for the local sheriff's office said of the latest incident: "It is a confirmed shark attack."

But she added that beaches in the area were not being closed as no other sharks had been spotted by the air teams.

It is important to remember that it's still very rare for sharks to attack humans.
