Computer shows junk food effects

Joanna now, and how she could look in 40 years
A computer has shown what could happen to kids who eat too much junk food and avoid doing exercise.

Experts used hi-tech wizardry to age Jason Buc, 10, and his sister Joanna, eight. Both the kids do little exercise and eat lots of fried food and sweets.

Their mum Julie vowed to change how she treats the kids after she saw how overweight they could become.

Julie said: "All those years that we've been giving the children what they want has got to change. I'm quite scared."

The pictures were made for BBC3 show Honey We're Killing the Kids! using expert help from nutritionists and psychologists, who looked at the kids' lifestyle.

As well as eating lots of junk, the Buc children ate meals in front of the TV, as well as not having a set bed time.

The family were given a plan to help stop the children heading for disaster, including eating more fruit and veg, and doing more exercise.
