You could soon be dodging surf boards in you local pool, as the world's biggest wave machine has been revealed.
The Versareef machine can make waves that reach three metres high, and go on for 70 metres - easily large enough for a spot of surfing.
The machine's inventors studied sea floors around the world to see what made the best waves. Their machine mimics the best ones.
The first of three pools to feature the machine will open in Florida in 2006.
The Versareef is basically a computer-controlled, shape-shifting rubber mat that can be fitted to the bottom of swimming pools.
It can create four types of wave, named after where they are usually found.
They are the Hawaiian, the Indonesian, the Californian, and the Australian.
