Grant's daughter back in 'Enders

Megan Jossa will play Courtney Mitchell
Grant Mitchell's little girl Courtney is set to return to EastEnders, seven years after leaving the Square.

According to the storyline, the 10-year-old has been living in Rio, Brazil with her dad since her Walford exit as a toddler in 1999.

Megan Jossa, nine, who will play Courtney, said: "I couldn't believe it when I heard I had got the part... it's going to be amazing and I can't wait."

Grant and Courtney will be back on screen together in March.

Courtney was the daughter of Grant and Tiffany Mitchell. Courtney survived the car accident that killed her mother in 1998, and has been living with her dad abroad ever since.

Described as charming and intelligent yet spoilt, Courtney is said to love being the centre of dad Grant's attention.

Ben is back

But she's not the only young Mitchell returning to the Square.

Courtney's cousin Ben, 9, son of Phil Mitchell, is also set to return to Walford after his mother Kathy dies in South Africa.

And a third new character is set to join the cast as Max Branning, the long-lost son of pensioner Jim.
