Rare white buffalo born in the US

A white buffalo
A rare pure white buffalo has been born at a ranch in US.

Thousands of baby buffalo are born at the Wisconsin ranch every year, but there hasn't been a pure white animal born for over a decade.

"We've had thousands of babies. This is the first white one we ever had - all white," said ranch owner Bob Allen.

According to American Indian tradition the birth of the baby is good news, as the white buffalo is a symbol of hope for humanity and harmony in the world.

The female baby buffalo is yet to be named.
