Shots fired in 'Potter book deal'

New Potter cover
Two men have been arrested after shots were reportedly fired during a deal to buy the new Potter book.

Police sealed off streets in Kettering, Northants, on Friday morning, in an attempt to find the weapon.

It's thought that the incident happened as a newspaper reporter attempted to buy Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which is coming out next month.

Police said two men from Kettering aged 37 and 19 were being held on suspicion of theft and firearms offences.

Half-Blood Prince - the sixth novel in the popular Potter series - is one of the hottest book releases of the year.

Publishers Bloomsbury have confirmed that two books were recovered but could not comment further on the matter.
