Press Packer Rebecca started to be bullied at school.
In her report she tells us about her experience and explains why she thinks it's important to talk to people about your problems.
"We hear about bullying all the time, but we don't often think it could happen to us. I thought that too, until I started secondary school.
Making fun
I was enjoying school until people started making fun of me for being clever.
I couldn't answer a question in class without a chorus of "boffin" going round.
Teasing
By the end of Year Eight I was fed up. My mum spoke to my tutor about the bullying and for a while the bullying stopped.
This year however people started teasing me again. It got worse - I started
receiving threats.
I started to hate school and I became really down. I thought everyone hated me.
Help from friends
My friends realised that things weren't getting better and that I was really low.
They spoke to my tutor and he arranged for me to speak to the school councillor. He also arranged to see my mum at the upcoming parents' day.
Talk to someone
I told my mum and now all my teachers know what's happening.
If you're being bullied you must tell someone. If you don't feel it's being dealt with then talk to them again.
It's not your fault
Don't blame yourself, no-one deserves to be bullied. If no-one knows, no-one can support you.
Speak out, people will listen."
