A reward is being offered to anyone who can prove that an animal called the Tasmanian tiger still exists.
The dog-like creature is feared extinct because it has not 'officially' been spotted roaming the mountains of Tasmania for 70 years.
The tigers are thought to have been hunted to the brink of extinction after being accused of killing sheep.
Now a local newspaper has offered a massive £500,000 to anyone who can prove the animal is still alive.
Over the last seven decades, many people living on the Australian island claim to have heard or spotted the animal in the bush.
If they can capture the stripy beast alive they could claim the cash.
The last known Tasmanian tiger died in a zoo in Hobart nearly 70 years ago.
