SPL: Dundee relegated after draw

Livingston players celebrate their victory
Dundee have been relegated from the Scottish Premier League after drawing 1-1 in their final-day match.

Calum MacDonald opened the scoring for the away side after 18 minutes, but Craig Easton equalised for Livi just eight minutes later at Almondvale.

The Dark Blues tried valiantly to score again but ended the match going down to Division One on Saturday.

In other games, Kilmarnock won 4-0 against Dunfermline, and Dundee United won 1-0 against Inverness.

Kilmarnock 4-0 Dunfermline

Killie achieved an impressive win over Dunfermline on Saturday, but the Fife club is safe from relegation.

Goals came from captain Gary Locke, Rhian Dodds, Kris Boyd and Gary MacDonald.

Inverness 0-1 Dundee United

The Terrors ended a difficult season with a narrow win over Caley Thistle.

Barry Robson scored for the away team, but was later given a red card at the end of the match.
