Sneak preview of Queen's speech

Queen Elizabeth II
The Queen will commend the British public for their response to the natural disasters and terrorist acts of 2005 in her Christmas day speech.

Buckingham Palace has released details from the speech two days before the complete broadcast will be seen on TV.

The Queen will reflect on the Boxing Day tsunami and the London bombings from the Chapel at Buckingham Palace.

She'll also say: "We live in a world which is not easy or safe, but it is the only place we have."

The Queen's speech will go out at 3pm on 25 December.

During the short programme choirboys will sing a carol from the Chapel Royal and the Queen will chat to children in the Palace's Chapel.
