Website lanched for cancer teens

Delta Goodrem was at the launch of the new website

Delta Goodrem and CBBC's Sam and Mark have launched a website to help teenagers affected by cancer in the UK.

Around 180 teens are diagnosed with the disease each month, and the Teen Info on Cancer site is packed with advice for them and their friends and family.

Charity CancerBACUP marked the launch of the site on 11 May by releasing their own blue and red wristband carrying its slogan, Dare to Share.

The site is online now, and can be found at www.click4tic.org.uk.

The site has loads of useful info

It features animations and information about treatment, types of cancer and hospitals, and a section where people can share their experiences with one another.

Actress and singer Delta Goodrem has recently recovered from cancer, and was at the launch to show her support.

She told Newsround: "When you've got cancer, you don't understand a lot of what's going on. To go on a website that can help you would be great."
