Other new entries include Coldplay in at 23 with Talk, and Girls Aloud at number 29 with See The Day.

Charlotte Church was also a new entry at 30 with Even God Can't Change The Past, and Franz Ferdinand were in at 37 with Walk Away.

There was good news for the Christmas tunes with Mariah Carey up four to three with All I Want For Christmas Is You, and Slade's classic Merry Xmas Everybody, up eight to 26.
