Stars and kids get singing record

Joss Stone and Lemar lead the singing
Lemar, Joss Stone and Ms Dynamite helped set a new musical record for the largest number of children singing at the same time on Friday.

The Big Sing event featured 502,000 children around the UK singing Lean On Me, led by the stars over the radio at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The massive sing-along was set up to help the African Children's Choir and kids' cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

It's hoped the event has raised up to 500,000 for the good causes.

The African's Children's Choir, who were also at the Royal Albert Hall, help children in Africa who have suffered as a result of war, sickness or poverty.
