The ancient mummy was found buried in sand near the Saqqara pyramids in Egypt

The mummy, which is believed to be around 2,300 years old, was discovered last week.

It was buried in the cemetery of King Teti, which is full of false doors and burial chambers

The mummy was buried in a plain wooden coffin in the bottom of a pit filled with sand

The mummy will be scanned by experts to try to find out who it was and how the person lived

Once research is finished, the amazing mummy will go on display in a museum in Egypt
