Girl saves dad's life with sugar

A two-year-old girl has saved her diabetic dad's life after she found him unconscious on the floor.

Charlie Lambell's dad, Daniel, has diabetes which means his blood sugar levels can drop very fast and this is very dangerous.

The little girl saw her dad was nearly in a coma and fed him spoonfuls of sugar until he came around.

Her mum Karen was out at the time so she couldn't help. Dad Daniel said: "She's daddy's little hero."

Not only did Charlie give her dad sugar, but she even made him a bowl of cereal for later, as he has to have something with carbohydrates in it when he comes round from an attack.

Charlie's mum Karen added: "I think she's amazing. You don't expect a two-year-old to do something like that.

"She said to me 'daddy was poorly but I looked after him'."
