George Lucas

Although many people have worked to bring Star Wars to the cinema, the idea for the world-famous space saga came from one man - George Lucas.

Lucas made his first film in 1971 and his second in 1973 and while they were well received by critics, they didn't give any indication of what was to come four years later - Star Wars.
