The government is worried that too many pupils are cheating on their coursework and is making plans to stop them.
Downloading work from the internet, getting too much help from teachers and parents and copying work from friends are all problems in schools.
A report from the people who make sure exams are run properly uncovered the amount of cheating going in GCSEs.
Now the government has ordered a review of coursework in every single GCSE subject to try and stop the cheats.
The Education Secretary Ruth Kelly said it was good that parents helped their children with coursework, but added that the adults needed more advice on the best ways to help.
The report also said that coursework is a very important part of school and helps many pupils motivate themselves and learn how to take responsibilty for their own learning.
Teachers are also going to get advice on how much they should help their students.
A survey of 400 parents found that 63% of them helped with homework in some way, with maths the subject they offered the most assistance in.
