Clubs 'queue up to sign Keane'

Roy Keane on the pitch
A number of British football clubs have said they are interested in signing up Roy Keane, following his shock exit from Manchester United.

Celtic are said to be interested in signing the midfielder, but Premiership clubs Portsmouth, Wigan and Bolton are also making enquiries.

It's thought Keane's most likely to join Celtic, as he's said he'd find it hard to join another Premiership club.

Keane left United on Friday after playing for the team for over 12 years.

Whichever club Keane decides to join he will not be able to make his debut for them until 1 January 2006.
