Celebs set for Children in Need

Madonna will perform on BBC One
Madonna is getting ready to join loads of other stars to help raise money for Children in Need on Friday night.

The singer will perform during the BBC One show which hopes to top the 34.2 million it raised last year.

The seven hour telethon will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and will feature sketches and special episodes of shows including EastEnders and Doctor Who.

Away from London, Sugababes will take to the stage in Wrexham, and Westlife will sing live in Belfast.

And people across the country are expected to take part in fundraising events through the night.

Every penny raised goes to charities that help disadvantaged children living in the UK.

The evening will kick off with Liberty X performing the Children in Need charity single A Night to Remember.
