Children will soon be spending up to £150 million on ringtones and downloading music for their phones, it's been claimed.
Sales of CD singles are still falling, but sales of mobile music have rocketed over the last year, said mobileYouth.
The average UK teenager already spends £26 a year on mobile music. mobileYouth thinks this kind of music will totally overtake normal music soon.
The research was done by mobileYouth, which looks at kids and technology.
Mobile music is now so popular that the amount of money spent on it is 16% of the entire amount spent on music in the UK.
Staff at mobileYouth think this will change the way music companies market their songs, and they'll have to put loads more emphasis on mobile music and ringtones.
