Children today think their parents should give them toys and games on demand and have no idea about the value of money, researchers have claimed.
Half of the kids asked said they would just ask for a toy they wanted outright, rather than expecting their parents to wait until their birthday.
The survey also showed kids have no idea how much things cost, with many thinking a new car cost just £1,000.
Kids also need to think about saving up for things they want, a spokesman said.
"It's important that parents start teaching their children about saving when they are young," the spokesman added.
