Little Ant and Dec chat to Blair

Tony Blair and Little Ant and Dec
Prime Minister Tony Blair has faced one of his toughest interviews so far, at the hands of Little Ant and Dec.

The cheeky pair gave Mr Blair a real grilling as part of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

They asked the prime minister questions about Turkey Twizzlers, and wondered why Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott always looks so grumpy.

They also had some presents for the prime minister's wife Cherie, and got some Newcastle United shirts in return.

They both had number 10 on them - because Mr Blair lives at Number 10 Downing Street - and the names Little Ant and Little Dec on the back.

Mr Blair said he hadn't tried Turkey Twizzlers, but admitted to being keen on snacking on chips.

The boys also wanted to know why more money couldn't be printed to help poor people around the world, but weren't too interested in his complicated answer.
