Granny to bake Royal wedding cake

Expert cakemaker Etta Richardson
Prince Charles has turned to a unusual source for his wedding cake, asking a Welsh grandmother to bake 20 for him.

Charles has asked 74-year-old Etta Richardson to make the cakes for the guests at his wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles on 8 April.

Charles first tasted Etta's secret recipe when he visited the town of Llansteffan in Wales.

Then he ordered eight of the special cakes and liked them so much he's gone back for second helpings.

Etta said: "I am very honoured but it is very good cake, even if I say so myself."

And she's not letting anyone else bake their own version, saying the 50-year-old recipe is top secret.

Let's just hope Charles' guests are as big fans of them as he is!
