Teenage tennis sensation Andy Murray has exited the Davidoff Swiss Indoors tournament, finally losing out to Fernando Gonzalez 6-4 3-6 6-1.
The 18-year-old Scot had beaten Tim Henman on his way to the quarter-final match, but the Chilean player proved too strong for him in the end.
It was the last competitive match of the year for Murray and he said he had learned a lot this year.
"I am just looking forward to starting again next year," he said.
"The main thing I have to take away from this year is that I have played against two or three top 10 players and have gone the distance."
Tennis legend John McEnroe has tipped Murray to be the top Briton at Wimbledon next year.
"You see a guy like Murray and the sky's the limit," he said.
