The invention of pong-proof pants could spell the end for stinky underwear.
A company has made briefs with tiny fragments of silver woven into them which stop bacteria multiplying.
The firm claims these pants can be worn again and again without fear of stench - and there's even no need to turn them inside out!
The no-smell knickers were invented for use by athletes and explorers, but could also be handy for anyone with a new-pants phobia.
The material also resists mildew and germs, say company North Face, which made them.
The technical undergarments had to be lightweight, comfortable and durable enough to last a trip to the top of Everest, and also easy to care for even when miles from a washing machine.
But spokesman Keith Byrne said the smell-free pants would be "extremely popular" among normal people, as well as with serious athletes.
"The fact they resist odour build-up is sure to appeal to blokes everywhere who may be slightly challenged in the washing machine department," he said.
