What do you think of fur in fashion?

Fur dealers in the UK say they're selling lots more fur than normal.

Top designers have started using it in their collections, increasing demand by three times more than normal.

But stores like Top Shop and Marks and Spencer refuse to sell it.

What do you think of the use of fur in clothes?

I disagree with Rebecca from Stevenage. Yes, animals are killed for food, but do you eat puppy or otter? they are being killed just for fashion, fake fur still gives you the outfit but not the guilt of killing a pup for no reason.

I think it is sick! Someone said earlier that animals are killed for food so why not for fur, but we NEED food to survive!!!!!!!! We don't NEED fur! Especially when there are really good substitutes like fake fur! I wear FAKE fur, it's ok, but I always stress that it's fake, I LOVE animals!

I think fur is fine if the animals also get killed for food. Rabbits are used for food and fur so that's O.K, but shooting animals for fur that don't have any other purpose is horrible.

Fur doesn't look good, and even if it did, that's not the point. No animals should be killed for the sake of fashion. If you ask me fashion overall is a bad thing. Why should animals have to suffer because a load of wannabes think it will make them look like J.Lo? I think it's sick!

I think it's horrible. Not only is it cruel to animals, it's also making it seem right to kill animals for nothing useful, and often it just makes horrible looking clothes.

I don't have any problems really with it. Animals are not killed for their fur, just like cattle isn't killed for its leather. I don't see anyone complaining about that do I? Fur just gets more attention because everyone thinks furry animals are cuter.

God made ANIMALS with fur not us, if we needed it to survive we would be born with it. Animals don't need to suffer for fashion. Nothing, especially fashion should take the life of any living creature.
