Album review: Bratz - Rock Angelz

The Bratz

Release date

10 October

Just when you thought the Bratz babes had the fashion toy world at their manicured feet, these chicks are now ready to rock! Their album Rock Angelz is the first musical outing for these mini divas, and they've compiled together monster rock anthems with edgy pop sing-a-longs. And there's nothing plastic about 'em!

Cloe, Yasmin, Jade, Sasha and Roxxi have got a lot of attitude and this comes through on songs like I Don't Care, So What and Nobody's Girl. Rebellion is the name of the game with these ladies, so air guitars at the ready!

Will you still be humming it next week?
For sure! If you like tunes from Avril Lavigne and Pink, then the Bratz songs will have you doing a lot more than just humming!

Chart worthiness

They deserve to slide into the top 10.

NR rating:

Four out of five

Bratz are DOLLS for goodness sake! They are NOT real. How can they sing if they're not real?

How can dolls sing? If it didn't have those dolls on the cover no one would buy it. It's just designed to make money.
David, 13, Cardiff

It's great. I love the voices they use.
Holly, 8, Milton Keynes

The songs do rock. I love Bratz and music so it's very cool!
