What do you think of Grandparents' Day?

The 24 September is Grandparents' Day.

We want to know what you think about the day.

Do you think there should be a special day for grandparents?

Maybe they should be treated specially all year round?

I think that grandparents should be treated all year round, but we have a mothers day and fathers day and they still get treated special. But it would be a nice day to show that you appreciate them.

I think it is a great idea considering how hard my grandparents try to be kind to me and how hard they try to keep me happy. My grandparents give me coke and biscuits and once when I didn't have any money for the school disco they gave me £3.

I think it is going over the top. First Mothers' day which is fine then Fathers' day and now Grandparent's day! Ridiculous - who even thought of the idea!

I think its a nice way to make Grandparents feel appreciated but a bad idea to set aside a special day for it because that would be really upsetting for children who had 'lost'grandparents.

I think there should be a Grandparents' day to show how important they are to us and to make them realise there not just old foggies but that they're the best people in our lives and so we should hold this day for them to say thanks for being there and that they are the BEST! I love my gran so much shes the best in the world!
