Jackson is in hospital 'with flu'

Michael Jackson
Popstar Michael Jackson has been rushed to hospital in California where his trial is taking place, suffering from a "severe case of the flu".

He fell ill on the way to court in California, where he is facing 10 charges of hurting a child.

At the moment a jury is being chosen to hear the case against Jackson, but his illness has delayed that process until Tuesday 22 February.

Singer Jackson, 46, has denied all of the charges against him.

Choosing the jurors for the case is expected to take until the beginning of March.

If he is found guilty Jackson could face up to 21 years in prison.

The case has attracted huge attention worldwide.
